– How long is the tour?
- -The tour is about 90 minutes.

– How far is the walk?
- – Not far. About 1 km at a comfortable pace. It is no more than a 3 or 4 minute walk between each stop.

– Where does it start?
- – Tours begin at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk st, Dublin 2. You’ll see our guides there with the MMT sign. Click here to find us on google maps.

- – Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm from March to October.

  - – Can I book a tour privately for my own group?
    - – Yes. We’re available for private booking 7 days a week from March to October. It’s perfect for corporate events, family days out or student groups. Click here to get in touch.
  - – Is it suitable for children?
    - – Yes, definitely. Our team of musicians initially got to know each other as teachers, so children have always been a consideration in our activities.
  - – How many visitors are on each tour?
    - – We want to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable on our tours so we will be operating small groups based on government guidelines.
  - – Is there enough space for social distancing?
    - – Yes. The tour is in the open air so there is no difficulty keeping the required social distance. Some of the photos and videos on this website are from previous tours before restrictions were introduced.
  - – What happens if it rains?
    - – Good point, the rain can be a nuisance. We’ve had many many discussions about this and we’ve eventually concluded that the tour goes regardless. If there is a severe weather warming from Met Eireann then we will abide by their advice but other than that the tour goes ahead no matter what the weather.
  - – Are all the tours the same?
    - – Not exactly. There are different guides with different instruments and different songs along the way. We are a team of 10 at the moment and there are always 2 musicians on each tour so there can be any combination of instruments and then each of our guides will put their own personality into the tour which could mean different songs or different versions of songs. So it’s always fresh and it’s always fun.
  - – What instruments do you use?
    - – We use a lot of instruments! Harp, guitar, fiddle, banjo, tin whistle, mandolin, bodhran, buzouki, concertina, flute, accordion. There are 2 musicians on each tour and generally they’ll have a couple of instruments each so along each tour there will be a mix of 4 or 5 instruments.
  - – What songs do you perform on the tour?
    - – Each tour will include roughly 9 or 10 songs. The musicians will mix it up so it’s not a strict set list of songs. There will be some rebel songs, love songs, humorous street ballads, maybe poetry and instrumental music too. We can’t really give too much away here, you’ll just have to come on the tour!
  - – Do I have to book in advance or can I just arrive at the meeting point and go on the tour?
